You want that blouse, but it’s too BIG! No Problem! I refuse to put a blouse back on the rack because it’s too big. There’s so much you can do with an oversize blouse, like, make it a dress, skirt, or an off-the-shoulder shirt (follow @goodgirlthrift on Instagram for suggestions). As for me, I turned this oversized top into a tie-up shirt and paired it with my ripped boyfriend jeans and tan wedges I found at the DSW clearance rack two years ago.

The weather is starting to get warmer, with the temperature being at a steady average of 70-degrees; this is the perfect weather to get away with wearing a nice leather jacket and black booties with no stockings. For a mid-week link-up with friends at happy hour, I will be wearing a black leather jacket, white oversized short sleeve collar blouse, and a blue knee-length skirt with black booties.

Transitioning from winter to spring can be a little tricky because I cannot fully transition my closet to my spring/summer outfits due to the weather fluctuating from 62 to 75 degrees. It’s still on the cool side of spring, which means it is not time to start placing my spring/summer clothes into my closet. I always go through this dilemma this time of the year, which is why I invested in a couple of transitional outfits to help get me through this unpredictable weather. One of my go-to outfits for this seasonal transition is a checked Bermuda short, with a pinkish-red blouse, denim jean jacket, and tan booties. Based on how cold it is, I can opt-in or out of wearing nude stockings.

You never realize what you have until it is gone. Since March, I’ve been working from home, and I missed getting dress up to go to work. I was excited when my boss sent a schedule for us to be in the office part-time. My first outfit back at the office was a soft pink silk blouse with a gold shimmer pencil skirt, black booties, and a face mask that screams “I’M BACK.” Even though I didn’t have an audience to show off to, it felt good getting dressed up to go to work. Those of you working from home until next year, you’ll find that wearing a cute outfit to your next zoom meeting will make you feel better.
