I hosted my first annual Galentine’s Day Slumber Party a couple of weeks ago for four of my girlfriends. The theme for this year’s festivities was “Self Care.” I wanted to convey how important it is to take time out for yourself. I partnered with Shanny B’s interior design to create a safe place for girlfriends to come together to eat, drink, play games, and talk shit. We enjoyed custom handcrafted sangrias by Lexi Sangria, Fried Chicken, salad, and freshly-baked cookies. Each individual received a gift bag with Self Care essentials such as Pacifica Kale Detox Deep Cleaning Face Wash, Hand in Hand Sugar Scrub, and Holler and Glow Facial Mask.
Thank you, Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar, for gifting us with a $50 gift card for brunch. This Peruvian inspired restaurant is a two-minute walk from the AC Hotel Marriott Downtown. I must say that this place has the best empanadas, and their French Toast is amazing. Click Here to reserve your spot for brunch.
FYI: I was too busy enjoying myself and forgot to take pictures.
I had the opportunity of helping Founder Kendra of The Classic Cue Vision become a reality at her first event, “Spring Out the Box, A Recipe Swap,” on April 8, 2017. For those of you who are not familiar with The Classic Cue; this brand provides the latest trends for fashion, interior design, travel, and lifestyle. Kendra wanted to introduce her guest to Spring with new recipes to try at home. These dishes were ideal for date nights, dinner parties, or to prevent spending money at restaurants. We had a live demonstration performed by food connoisseur, Yvonne, who prepared veggie empanadas, and professional Chef Sage from the Food Network show, Chop’t, who made mini fish tacos. Of course, we also had two ladies who great are examples of career women who find time to cook with their busy schedule. Their asparagus tart and Cajun shrimp and crab dip were simply amazing. After experiencing great cuisines from these ladies, we ended the event with fresh sounds from DJ Juliana. Make sure you check out The Classic Cue website for these wonderful recipes, Click Here.
In the meantime, check out photos from our photographer, Ashley Dorce.

I hosted my first annual End of The Summer Beauty Happy Hour Event on September 25, 2016. This event allowed my guest to try out fall makeup trends for 2016. The theme for this year’s event focused on Saving Money. Our guest had the opportunity to sample NYX’s product. Nyx is an affordable brand that has prices that range from $5-$18. They tested Nyx’s baked blush, Liquid Suede cream lipstick, and natural eye shadow. Stay tuned for my post on my favorite Nyx’s Product from the event.
