THRIFT STORE FIND: A DAY AT THE HARBOR

THRIFT STORE FIND: A DAY AT THE HARBOR

Sometimes, I feel like putting on a cute outfit just to go the Harbor and look at the beautiful scenery. On my outing this past weekend, I wore a simple white button-up shirt with a navy blue mini skirt, a multi-color belt, and a vintage Liz Claiborne purse.

THRIFT STORE FINDS: GROOVY BABY

The weather is getting warmer, but not warm enough for me to wear shorts. So on my way to brunch on an 88-degree day, I wore a spaghetti strap cami top with wide-leg jeans, tan suede wedges, and a cream color bookbag purse to carry my belongings. This 70’s inspired outfit was a show stopper and a great transition from a hot day to a cozy night in late spring.

Sidenote: You notice that I tend to go to brunch a lot, but that is all it is to do during a pandemic.

THRIFT STORE FINDS: 80’s Baby

THRIFT STORE FINDS: 80’s Baby

On Friday, we celebrated an 80’s baby birthday. While the rest of us were trying to find loopholes in hanging out during the pandemic, this 80’s baby has safely been quarantining with her family all year long. So when she said that she wanted to have a Birthday dinner, none of us hesitated to come out to celebrate her born day. In honor of this great 80’s baby prodigy’s Birthday, I wore baggy yellow high-waisted harem pants with a multicolor mock-neck crop top and block heels and added a red purse to finish the look.

Happy Birthday @kirsmedia

THRIFT STORE FINDS: 80’S VINTAGE BLOUSE

Sometimes a nice blouse is all you need for an effortless outfit. On a day out with friends at Busboys and Poets, I wore a Sara Stephen’s 80’s Vintage Blouse with dark blue denim jeans and tan mules. It was a simple yet cute outfit.

THRIFT STORE FINDS: That ’70s Show

If I were a schoolgirl back in the ’70s, I would wear a suede vest, white high-waisted corduroy pants, and a white tie-neck blouse on a casual 60-degree day out with friends. What would you wear during this decade?

COSIGNMENT FINDS: Farewell to Winter!

We got a dose of spring last week with 70-degree weather, and this week the temperature has dropped to 50 degrees, which sucks because I have plans to do brunch with my girls this weekend. This weekend’s weather is not ideal, but I can say farewell to winter with style by wearing a tan Harve Bernard leather skirt with a stolen black sweater from my mom’s closet, a black fedora hat, and black ankle boots.

THRIFT STORE FINDS: A VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF EXTRAVAGANCE!

Gold symbolizes extravagance, wealth, riches, and excess. Even if we are house hopping for the rest of the year, I will find a reason to wear this gold fitted midi dress to the next get together.

PSA: When you see a unique piece like this dress, pick it up, I guaranteed that you would not see it anywhere else.

THRIFT STORE FINDS: End of Summer Attire

The end of summer is near, and I want to take this time to show as much skin as possible before we transition into hoodies and jean season. On a safe day out with the girls, I wore this beautiful neutral colored split wrap skirt with a plain white crop tank top and sandals. I completed this look with a little vintage wooden bag.

Skirt Came From:

Vintage Wooden Bag came from a thrift store in the DMV area (I bought this bag 10 years ago).

THRIFT STORE FINDS: VINTAGE DRIP

Even though there’s nowhere to go, I genuinely enjoy putting on an outfit to go to trader joes. Last week, I sashayed down the aisle with a cream-colored belted high-waisted jeans paired with a cut-up v-neck tank top and black sandals. I was a little overdressed at trader joes, but getting dressed up has brought me comfort during this quarantine.
