VINTAGE FINDS: JOURNEY TO MAKETTO

I love getting dressed up to go to new places! This weekend, I ventured out to Maketto to indulge in authentic Cambodian/Taiwanese cuisine. This place is unique; it has a lovely Jungle Bungalow aesthetic outside on the upper level that reminds me of an old Vietnam war movie scene where the soldiers are getting drinks at a local bar. My vintage silk Bedford fair skirt paired with an oversized white shirt that I decided to tie up to add spunk to the outfit perfectly matched the scenery. This fabric was breathable and light; I couldn’t help but doing a couple of twirls in this vintage masterpiece. On a hot, humid day, this outfit was extremely cool and fun to wear.

Skirt came from:
The Cottage Shop

Houston, TX 77006

Blouse came from:
Goodwill of Greater Washington Retail Store

Alexandria, VA 22309
