J&L Natural Shine Face Mask

J&L Natural Shine Face Mask

What’s better than a good face mask? A great face mask with natural and vegan ingredients from J&L Naturals that works on oily and combination skin. Due to the dry climate, My skin has been dry and dull; and I needed a face mask that can restore moisture while maintaining the natural production of sebum on my skin. J&L Naturals Shine Face Mask has just four ingredients that are easy to pronounce, so I felt comfortable trying this product without skin irritation fears. After I cleanse my face, I used the wooden spoon found in the package to mix one scoop of face mask with one scoop of water and stirred until I got a clay consistency. I apply a nickel-size amount to my face for 20 minutes to allow the ingredients to penetrate my skin. Once I washed the face mask off using warm water, my skin felt smooth. I woke up the following morning with clear and radiant skin. There’s enough in this container to make 150 masks.

Face Masks Ingredients:
Bentonite Clay – flushes out toxins and absorbs dirt and oil from your skin.
Kaolin Clay– prevents breakouts and helps to restore skin that frequent outbreaks of acne have damaged.
Beetroot powder– helps repair and prevents dry skin.

THRIFT STORE FINDS: Transitioning from Winter to Spring Attire

Transitioning from winter to spring can be a little tricky because I cannot fully transition my closet to my spring/summer outfits due to the weather fluctuating from 62 to 75 degrees. It’s still on the cool side of spring, which means it is not time to start placing my spring/summer clothes into my closet. I always go through this dilemma this time of the year, which is why I invested in a couple of transitional outfits to help get me through this unpredictable weather. One of my go-to outfits for this seasonal transition is a checked Bermuda short, with a pinkish-red blouse, denim jean jacket, and tan booties. Based on how cold it is, I can opt-in or out of wearing nude stockings.

Red Apple Lipstick: Gluten-Free & Vegan Lipstick

Red Apple Lipstick was gracious to sponsor my 2nd Annual Galentines Day Slumber Party. They sent an array of colors full of pinks, reds, and purples to my guest and me. I was fortunate to find the color “Audrey” (a soft pink) in my bag, a popular color from Red Apple Lipstick that is crafted with the highest quality ingredients to ensure long-lasting color and moisturized lips. I usually wear a lot with red, so I couldn’t wait to wear this pale pink with the outfit I picked out for brunch the next day with my girls. I wore a gold shimmer pencil skirt with an oversized black sweater and a black fedora hat, and this Audrey color added a timeless touch to my sophisticated look for the day. I applied a little bit on my lip, and Viola! My lips look and felt smooth and supple. Who knew a gluten-free and vegan lip line could make my lips look like this?

Side Note: the Rallye Balm is fantastic for everyday wear. It kept my lip soft and moisturized.
