HUE NOIR; Celebrating Women of Different Skin Tones

As we completed our celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2017, with the hashtag #adaywithoutwoman, Paula Hayes came to mind. She is a product chemist who founded the Hue Noir brand. She has successfully blended science and technology to develop high-quality makeup for women of color who have different skin tones, ranging from fair to deep. I had the pleasure of sampling the Perfect Pout Hydrating Lipstick, the Perfect Shine Hydrating Lipgloss, and the Perfect Pigment velvet eyeshadow from her product line.

Perfect Pout Hydrating Lipstick is true to its name. Hue Noir sent me their Flirtatious color (eggplant purple), which has a rich pigment. This lipstick provided me with moisture without the need of applying Chapstick before the lipstick because the product was blended with nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba, and avocado butter. Product retails for $25.00

The Perfect Shine Hydrating Lipgloss is my favorite gloss on the market and is worth $20.00. Unlike other brands, this lip gloss did not leave a tacky residue on my lips, and the sangria color that they sent me gave me a silky finish and subtle color. This product also had ingredients such as vitamin E and jojoba to keep the lips nicely moisturized.

The Perfect Pigment velvet eyeshadow was the product that I chose to wear to my event because it delivered twice the pigment and flattered my skin tone. This product retails for $22.00.

I enjoyed having this product at my Power and Beauty Event. Hue Noir brands represent women of all shades. Before going to Sephora to look at their brands, please check out Hue Noir for their fantastic product line.
